| GREASYPALM LABEL A SCAM, 1/17/2010 | | | Reviewer: londonboi | | I had the same experience with wepromiseto i had £227.00 payable then they deleted my account i emailed them and fiona who i find to be a b**ch said i had signed up for high offers my answer to her i got a contract changed utility and got virgin media installed all genuine but they dont listen to reason but the site now is pathetic still claims to pay 100% they dont as 100% cashback sites pay double what they pay my advice is do not use any site associated with them greasy palm cashback.co.uk cashbackboy and wepromise to plus the others. I wish there was something we could do but maybe there is if enough of us get together maybe file a lawsuit against them? If you have proof all transactions are genuine as im sure most do then lets take them to court get our cashback and sue them im sure we would win. I emailed we promiseto for the address as i did seek legal advice and FIONA REFUSED TO GIVE ME THE ADDRESS TOLD ME IT IS ON THE WEBSITE NOW IF THEY HAD NOTHING TO HIDE WHY DID SHE REFUSE TO GIVE ME THE ADDRESS AS I SAID FIONA IS A VILE PERSON. SO LETS FIND A WAY TO STOP THEM COZ THEY DEFO KEEP THE MONEY FROM DELETED ACCOUNTS THEY JUST CLAIM FRAUD BUT THEY WANT THE MONEY AS ALL COMPANYS GET GREEDY SO ANYONE WANTS TO JOIN ME IN FIGHTING THEM GET IN TOUCH AND WHO KNOWS MAYBE GET RID OF THEM COMPLETLEY. NOT WANTING TO PROMOTE BUT QUIDCO.COM IS BY FAR THE BEST HAD £523.OO IN DECEMBER FROM TRANSACTIONS GREAT SITE ALWAYS PAY AND REPLY POLITELY TO EMAILS AND DONT SUSPEND GENUINE ACCOUNTS |
| greasy palm, 11/6/2009 | | | Reviewer: lisacharman | Here is an e-mail that I've just sent them. The £200+ that I accumilated was from switching utilities, insurance policies and a bank account, I also signed up to a few bingo sites through them. I don't see anything in there rules stating that this is not allowed, surely that is the whole purpose of the site? Re: GreasyPalm Account Removed Hi Paul, after having had a quick look on the internet for reviews about your company I find that you have conned many other people in the same way that you have conned me, by suspending accounts once they have already earned you money and refusing to pay the cashback owed. Please explain: 1, why EXACTLY you have suspended my account 2, if, by your definition, I have acted unethically why have you used my name on your website as a top cashback earner for 3 weeks running and had a link to show others how 'top earners' do it. 3. what will happen to the money you have stolen from me and the money you earned from me taking up the offers on your site? Every offer I used on your site were ones that I would've used with or without the cashback. Having recently lost my job due to the recession I was looking for ways to save money on my insurances, bank accounts and utilities and your site was recommended on moneysavingexpert.com, who I am sure would not be plugging your site if they were aware of the disgraceful, unethical way you are treating some of your clients. Fortunatly here in the U.K we are protected from companies out to scam people and unless my account is re-instated and the money you owe my paid, I will not hesitate to take this matter as far as it needs to go to get justice. I will also contact BBC's Wathchdog programme and ITV's 'The Ferret', along with several other of your disgruntled customers who will be happy to suport me on this matter. This money that you owe to me, that I accumilated fairly, was for my childrens christmas presents. I kindly request you do the honourable thing and pay the money you owe to me. I look forward to your prompt reply. |
| Greasypalm / cashback.co.uk, 11/6/2009 | | | Reviewer: lisacharman | I'm currently in a dispute with them as I accumilate over £200 cash back but before it was paid they deleted my account and are refusing to re-instate it. They won't explain why and as far as I'm concerned I haven't done anything to compromise their rules.
They even used my name for 3 weeks running promoting me as a 'top earner' and put a link underneath to tell others how I did it!!
If anyone else has had a similar experience with this site please contact me as I'd like to take it further, or at least find out what they've done with my £200 and the money they earned from me sitching my bank accounts, utilities and insurance policies. |
| More about why this CASHBACK site is a scam, 7/25/2009 | | | Reviewer: Mkcoy | The user "saviola17" is an employer for the site and not an end user. The comment was left after the first comment was. Check the dates. How blatently obvious is it? SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!
I will update what they say to me last support ticket to them soon. |
| Why This Site Is A Scam! Use At Own Risk, 7/25/2009 | | | Reviewer: Mkcoy | I myself joined this site and started using it to do the free cashback offers you can do to earn cashback without spending money. I had earned more than enough than was needed to cashout. However on going to sign in I saw my account was "suspended" so I contacted them via a support ticket to ask why and I was told it was because I had signed up to the cashback offers just to receive cashback. Well duhh!!
They say that their terms say "if you sign up to offers just for the cashback then your account will be closed"
WTH!!! What are the offers there for then if you can't do them????
I have been in discussion with them via support tickets and each time they have not been willing to give me the benefit of the doubt and restore my account. But they have blatently kept the money I earned them! Here is the conversation I've had with them.
Account Suspended? Created: 7th July 2009 @ 3:58 PM
Message Hello. I have just tried to login but it's saying "My account has been suspended" Why?? Why has my account been suspended?? I earned over £25 fair and square and referred a lot of people to the site. And I never recieved any email from you telling me why. Why was my account suspended!!???

Hi, You have been suspended for signing up to sites multiple times to receive the cashback, this is against our terms and conditions. Regards, Fiona

Hi sorry I've just opened a new ticket as I never I lost this link. I've just checked now and it now says my account has actually been deleted! I thought I was allowed to sign up to the sites multiple times? It never said anywhere on the offers page that I couldn't. As far as I was aware I was doing everything right :( This does not seem fair it took so long and a lot of work to earn what I did. I submitted all my details to recieve offers etc and for nothing. I am a blogger and have wrote a big review of you on my get cashback blog and posted about many of the cashback offers and members deals posted here. I've been an avid user of ptc, gpt and cashback sites for a couple of years and have a few contacts in the cashback community. With that I have had first and 2nd hand experience of accounts being deleted without notification and know how disheartening it can be. Especially when one wants to do things right from the start. But as I said anyway, it doesn't say anywhere on any of the offers pages that you can't sign up to multiple sites more than once. I thought that was the whole point? Can you restore my account?

Hi, Our terms and conditions state: You are required to use the Rewards Program in an ethical manner and should accounts be used to purposefully defraud or inflate cashback earnings with Participating Retailers then duplicate transactions will be removed and/or your account subject to termination. Any retailers that can be used Daily/multiple times are shown under the Daily Cashback link. Regards, Fiona

Hi Right so you just went and deleted my account just like that then without even notifying me. No email. Nothing! I HAVE used the site in an ethical manner. As far as I was concerned I was doing everything ok. "Any retailers that can be used Daily/multiple times are shown under the Daily Cashback link." Yeah but it doesn't say that on the "No spend cashback" pages though does it. In which cash you should have a more sophisticated system so that any offers I have done are removed or marked as completed. On GPT sites they have offers that you can do multiple times as long as you use a different email address. I simply thought that was the case on cashback.co.uk as well. Surely you can take that into consideration?? I have put in a lot of time into completing offers on this site and gave out a lot of personal information and you have just deleted my account as if I don't even exist. It's attrocious! I use and review Cashback websites. I have been using GPT/PTC websites for many years and have a lot of contacts in the industry. I am an avid fan of scam/review websites and I will not hesitate to write about my unfair treatment here unless you are willing to take into consideration my case and why I completed offers multiple times and to restore my account. Will you restore my account to good standing?

Hi, I'm sorry but we do make it clear in our terms and conditions that is you sign up to offers just for the cashback then your account will be closed. We are unable to reopen it. Regards, Fiona

Right fine! I see what you have done! You are making a big mistake. I will report you to cashback investigation websites. I am going to post on my blog that gets over 1000 UV's a day that you are a scam and to not use you. I will post in all the forums I've posted in about you how you are a scam and disable peoples accounts and are not willing to re-open them even after they put their hands up and admit they done wrong by accident. You DO NOT make it clear in your terms and conditions that if you sign up to offers just for the cashback then my account will be closed. I repeat: IT DOES NOT STATE THAT! And if that is the case... Then what are the cashback offers for!!????? You are decieving and contradicting yourself. You are a scam site and I will ensure people know about it. To be honest. Your customer service here is terrible. You've never given me a straight answer for all the questions I've ever asked you. You have blatently kept my money! I worked hard and spent money making the cashback I had earned! It's bang out of order! Because of how you have treated me I am going to make it my mission to ensure as many people as possible know that you are a scam! I am going to post all over the internet on every group and forum there is how you have treated me and that you are a scam! You have wasted my time and my money!

Hi, Our terms and conditions make it quite clear plus they are agreed to upon registration so we expect our members to take note of them. The section in the terms and conditions i am a referring to is: "20. You are required to use the Rewards Program in an ethical manner and should accounts be used to purposefully defraud or inflate cashback earnings with Participating Retailers then duplicate transactions will be removed and/or your account subject to termination." We are not a scam and currently have plenty of happy members who honour our terms and conditions. Regards, Lee

Right. So what you are saying is that I did not honour your terms and conditions. I have fully explained myself via these tickets and you have not been willing to re-instate my account. You have put me down as acting fraudently purely because I signed up to too many offers! But you have obviously kept the money they paid you though. I DID use the cashback offer in an ethical manner. If you can't do an offer more than once then I suggest you update your website so it's more sophisticated and actually remove the offers you've completed. What do you expect people to do when they sign in and see the offer available again to be completed? Do you think that people should know that oh once you've completed an offer once not to do it again? Exactly how many times can you sign up to an offer? Again! These are things that are NOT in your terms & conditions. They are very carefully worded and that is very very snidey! My account was NOT used to purposefully defraud or inflate cashback earnings. I purely signed up to offers thinking it was ok to do so as long as I used a new email address each time. If you had any knowledge about GPT sites that have been around for years you would know that, that is what you are able to do! You can't expect people not to think this when they use your site after using GPT sites and seeing the same offers on those sites that are on here when they can sign up to those offers on those sites multiple times as long as they use a new email address. I am not the only person you have done this to! http://www.cashbackguide.org/cashback+review.aspx Expect a big review there on why I think you are a scam site soon!
DO NOT USE THIS SITE TO EARN CASHBACK WITH. THEY WILL DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT AND NOT PAY YOU AND THEY WONT EVEN TELL YOU THEY HAVE DONE IT. THEY HIDE BEHIND CAREFULLY WORDED TERMS AND CONDITIONS. THEY ARE A SCAM SITE AND THEY NEED TO LEARN A FEW THINGS ABOUT THE GPT OFFERS INDUSTRY! |
| Cashback.co.uk is a scam, 4/15/2009 | | | Reviewer: Cindy88 | When I reached £50 in my account - Cashback.co.uk cancelled my account! I tried to log in - i try to go to their website - it comes up with the same page that my account has been deleted.
I gave out my information to sites that I would not normally go to.
Oh and the ultimate was I can't even contact them! I tried to reply to their spam emails and nothing. I try clicking on Contact Us section and it still loads the page saying my account is deleted.
How's that for a scam! If anyone could go to the site and get the contact email address so I can abuse them for deleting my account without me cancelling it or even contacting me - I would really appreciate it!!
Very frustrated |
